Dr. Leanne Laporte, a Philadelphia native, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Arcadia University in 2013. Immediately following, she began her graduate studies at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. During her optometric training, she completed a rotation in advanced pediatrics at The Eye Institute and pursued concentrations in binocular vision and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Laporte graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2017. She is nationally board-certified and licensed in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of ocular conditions, such as vision problems, eye infections, dry eye, and glaucoma. The detection of cataracts, macular degeneration, and ocular changes due to systemic diseases like diabetes and hypertension is also within her scope of practice. In her spare time, Dr. Laporte enjoys painting, playing tennis, and traveling.
